Kylie Minogue announces world tour will kick off at Perth’s RAC Arena
Aussie superstar Kylie Minogue has announced her biggest tour since 2011, and in a move that will leave her West Aussie fans feeling very lucky, she is set to kick the tour off in Perth.
The pop icon’s highly-anticipated Tension Tour will start in her home country before she flies across the globe to Asia and the UK.
Unlike many stars who have snubbed Perth, the 56-year-old has chosen the isolated city to begin her tour and will take the stage at RAC Arena on February 15, 2025.
She will then head to Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney to perform a total of six shows.
The Grammy Award-winner said she can’t wait for the tour to begin.
“I am beyond excited to announce the Tension Tour 2025,” Minogue said.
“I can’t wait to share beautiful and wild moments with fans all over the world, celebrating the Tension era and more!
“It’s been an exhilarating ride so far and now, get ready for your close up because I will be calling Lights, Camera, Action … and there will be a whole lot of Padaming.”
Tickets will go on sale to the general public through Ticketek on October 2.
Telstra members and Frontier members will get early access on September 24 and September 26 respectively.
The announcement comes just one month before Minogue’s new music is set to be released.
The singer will drop 13 songs on October 18 and she promises the collection will be full of dance floor anthems.
Well-known musicians such as Bebe Rexha, Tove Lo and Sia will also feature on some tracks.
