Kiss Kiss (XX) My Arse: Transphobic Holly Valance, Pauline Hanson song unavailable on Apple music
Just days after its release, Holly Valance’s Kiss Kiss (XX) My Arse collaboration with Pauline Hanson appears not to be available on Apple Music.
The song, which has copped huge criticism for being transphobic and attacking vulnerable minority communities, reached the number 1 spot on the Australian Apple chart.
It gathered steam for making fun of “woke” culture, promoting Ms Hanson’s new controversial film A Super Progressive Movie.
A simple search seems to yield no result, just bringing up other tracks from Holly Valance, a former Neighbours star turned outspoken conservative. It also does not appear in the top 100 chart.
Social media users have been quick to question why they can’t access the song anymore.
“Who gave Apple the go ahead to tell us what music we could download?” one user wrote on X.
Valance wrote the song especially for the movie, which takes aim at LGBTQIA+ identities.
“MWAH You will respect my pronouns. Not all ladies have ovaries, some have a penis. They say that I’m a he but I’m a she, Coz I gotta V and not a D,” the lyrics said.
“And I don’t care what people say: I’ll never be a him, a them or they. Cause I’m real biological woman. A real biological woman.
“Fave song – from the river to the sea, no job but I bleed LGBT… Q+, ya bigot. Cause I’m a real diabolical lefty.”
After making waves online, the song topped both the Australian Apple Music and iTunes charts by January 27.
It’s breaks Valance’s drought, becoming her first released track since 2003.
The song is still available on Spotify, after it was added on January 27.
Ms Hanson said Valance agreed to the project immediately.
“When we phoned Holly Valance to write us a song for the movie, she instantly said yes,” Ms Hanson wrote on social media.
The incoming film is said to follow four “progressives” who find themselves in the “real-world” lead by Prime Minister Pauline Hanson after their “rainbow malfunctions”.
