The dedicated reporter had been working on the Good Friday Appeal just a week before the newborn’s arrival, with the couple now settling into life as a family of three.
In a heartfelt post shared to Instagram, Dolling announced the news, writing: “Oscar Daniel 10.04.2026. Two weeks early, nine pounds of pure perfection. Bringing you into this world in the most real and magical way was the proudest moment of my life. We are smitten, little man. You are our everything, already”.
The baby’s name carries a special meaning for the family, with both Jamie and Oscar’s grandfather sharing it as a middle name.
Dolling said her newborn has been feeding and sleeping well and has already made his presence known with a strong set of lungs.
The Sunrise team made the announcement live on air this morning, sharing photos of the newborn.
Dolling first announced her pregnancy live on-air back in January.
“We’re so excited to be able to take you on this journey with us,” she said.
