Alto Metals is continuing its crusade across the Lords Corridor at its multi-deposit Sandstone gold project in WA. Recent drilling at the Lord Nelson and Lord Henry deposits intersected a cache of high-grade gold hits that the company says confirms the continuity of the mineralisation. The best result was a 15 metre hit going 3.1 grams per tonne gold from the Lord Nelson deposit.

The 15 intersection included a 6m hit grading 5.3 g/t gold from 205m.

The company says the standout hit extends the high-grade mineralisation below Lord Nelson by about 30m south.

Following Alto’s recent Juno discovery at the centre of the Lords Corridor, the company says the overall mineralised strike is now over 1km.

The Lord Henry deposit, a brisk 3km hike from Lord Nelson, is shaping up to be no slouch either. Drilling results from Lord Henry included a ménage à trois of high-grade gold hits, the best of which was a 10m intersection going 2.1 g/t gold from 13m that included a 1m zone grading 14.8 g/t gold from 18m. The longest result was a 21m zone grading 1.4 g/t gold from 100m that included a half metre hit with a healthy 27.4 g/t gold from 102m.

Rounding out the Lord Henry trio was a 6m intersection running 2.2 g/t gold from 12m.

We are looking forward to the next phase of drilling to test extensions of mineralisation at depth and repeat lodes along the +3 kilometre corridor.

The final one-metre assays for the Lords shall be incorporated into the ongoing resource work, as we continue to progress towards an updated for an updated Mineral Resource for the Sandstone Gold Project. We are also looking forward to receiving all the outstanding assays for the eight diamond holes and more than 100 RC holes from some our priority regional targets, which we anticipate to receive over the coming weeks.

The area looks to be aptly named and and has been throwing up some crazy long drill intersections. Previously reported 4 metre composite assays that have now been broken down into one metre composites have again underlined the potential of Lord Henry, Lord Nelson and the Orion prospect, with the best result a cracking 91m hit going 2.8 g/t gold from 56m that included a 27m zone grading 5.1 g/t gold from 72m.

Alto says once all the results from recent assays have been returned, they will be fed into an updated mineral resource that is expected by Christmas.

In just a short period of time, Alto has scrubbed up its Sandstone operations with multiple intersections that have both grade and width and with the two lucrative Lords deposits book ending the 3km long Lords Corridor, this project just might end up having some serious scale too.
